FAQs
Do I have to edit my photos?
No, Reelty has a team of in-house photo and video editors. All you need to do is show up to the shoot on time, upload your photos/videos, and done!
How long does the application process take?
Preliminary approval takes 48-72 business hours. All photographers start on a probationary path for their first three (3) shoots. After that, there are no limitations.
What are equipment requirements?
Photographers should have:

A newer mirrorless or DSLR camera capable of producing clean, high-quality images

A wide-angle lens (10–18mm preferred)

How much will I get paid?
On average, our photographers get paid ~$125/per shoot.
During the 3-shoot probationary period, photographers earn $100/per shoot. After the successful completion of the probationary period, photographers earn anywhere from $120-$150/per shoot, depending on a variety of factors.
How often will I get paid?
Funds are released to the photographer within 7 business days of the completion of a shoot. Payout requests can be made at any time there is a positive balance.
How do you choose who gets which projects?
Our algorithm uses a proprietary method that incorporates a variety of metrics: i.e. photographer tenure, shoot location, and more. Multiple photographers may receive the same project request at once — in this case, the first photographer to "Accept" the job will be assigned.
Does REELTY reimburse for gas?
No, REELTY does not reimburse for gas or vehicle wear and tear. We recommend tracking usage, mileage, and other metrics to maximize tax benefits. We ensure that project requests are shown only within your desired travel distance.
Are we penalized for "Declining" a project?
No, REELTY does not penalize photographers for "Declining" a project. Photographers have the ability to "Accept"/"Decline" all projects for any reason at all.
